On Saturday, March 29, people around the world celebrate Earth Hour (@earthhourofficial), a global movement celebrating environmental consciousness. From 8:30PM to 9:30PM in each region’s local time, people across the planet switch off their lights to raise awareness of environmental issues and climate change.

Landmarks Around the World Go Dark for @earthhour

Today, people around the world will celebrate Earth Hour (@earthhourofficial) by turning off their non-essential lights from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time. The event was conceived by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in 2007 as a way to raise awareness about climate change.
