Colorado’s Largest Hot Air Balloon Festival

Labor Day weekend marked the 36th annual Colorado Balloon Classic in Colorado Springs. There were 80 pilots registered to bring 80 aircraft, which included hot air balloons, a helicopter, and paragliders. The Colorado Balloon Classic continues to hold the title of the largest air show and the largest hot air balloon event in Colorado.

Hundreds of beautiful images of the mass ascensions of dozens of balloons were shared to Instagram through the tag #coloradoballoonclassic and the official event location page.
