Nearly 200,000 people are in Cheyenne, Wyoming, this week for the world’s largest outdoor rodeo. The rodeo takes place during Cheyenne Frontier Days, a celebration of the American West held annually since 1897. Aside from the rodeo, a fair and other cultural activities, the celebration also involves free pancake breakfasts hosted by the local Kiwanis chapter: Over the course of a single week, over 100,000 pancakes are served, along with 3,000 pounds of ham!
